Before you buy

Where does the enquiry go?
Wherever your Squarespace form already sends it. Shortlist writes into a field and gets out of the way. It doesn't collect, store or transmit anything itself.
What happens if a visitor leaves and comes back?
The list is held in their browser and is still there on the same device. It doesn't follow them to a different device unless they use the share link.
Does it work on product pages?
Not in version 1. Blog collections only. If your items are products, don't buy it yet.
Which Squarespace plan do I need?
Any plan that allows custom code — Business or one of the Commerce plans. Squarespace blocks code injection on Personal and Basic, so Shortlist can't run there.
When do I get it?
Straight after payment. The download and the customiser are on the confirmation page.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. The customiser writes the code, you paste it into two places. You need to be comfortable finding Code Injection in your Squarespace settings and adding a Code Block to a page.
What happens when Squarespace changes something?
Compatibility updates are included for twelve months, then they're a paid update. Bugs in what I shipped are fixed free, whenever they turn up. Your version keeps working either way — nothing expires and nothing switches off.
